 Yeasha Sobhan is the vice chairman of Safwan Bashundhara Global (SBG) and Bashundhara Paper Mills Ltd., which has become one of the fastest-growing sectors within the Group’s operations. She has led efforts to widen the division’s product range to include a variety of paper, tissue, and hygiene items. As a senior executive in Bangladesh’s largest conglomerate, she has earned recognition as a respected female industrial leader who has guided steady growth.

Under her leadership, Toggi has built a strong presence in Bangladesh’s real estate market by delivering high-quality, sustainable spaces.

Her work with The Food Hall has contributed to the growth of a premium restaurant chain renowned for its gourmet dishes and thoughtful dining experiences. Her planning and attention to detail have strengthened the Group’s reputation in hospitality, real estate, and manufacturing.

As the head of Bashundhara Paper Mills Limited, she has guided the company in its commitment to responsible production. Under her management, the organization installed modern Effluent Treatment Plants to clean wastewater before its safe release into the environment. The company has earned ISO 9001:2015 and FSC-CoC certifications, distinguishing itself in Bangladesh’s paper industry.

She has led improvements that strike a balance between strong output and environmental care. Her leadership has helped the company become a reliable supplier for the Bangladesh government, meeting large-scale paper demands while maintaining high standards of sustainability.

Innovative Marketing Expert

Yeasha has contributed directly to building awareness of the Group’s paper and hygiene products. She has been involved in planning, budgeting, and evaluating marketing campaigns, encompassing social media and public relations efforts. Her work has helped develop well-known brands like Bashundhara Baby Diaper, Bashundhara Tissue and Paper, and Monalisa Sanitary Napkins.

The company also produces exercise books to help students and adults learn mathematics, Bangla, and English. Under her guidance, these products have reached a broad audience and supported education across Bangladesh.

In 2018, she was among twelve women out of sixty-four nominees to receive the Bangladesh Women Leadership Excellence Award during a ceremony in the capital. This recognition honored her leadership and dedication to community engagement.

Leadership and Philanthropic Initiatives

Under the leadership of Yeasha Sobhan, the Bashundhara Special Children Foundation has grown steadily. The foundation provides support for children with special needs and works to raise public awareness about autism spectrum disorder.
